This morning, I discovered something beautiful… the opening credits of the old RTE series, Bracken. I love the music, the cinematography, the sad, reflective looks on the characters’ faces as they stare into the middle distance/at their horse. I love it all. I can’t stop watching it! The music is by Noel Kelehan (pictured).
The saudade levels are really off the chart on this one. Interesting when nostalgia is generated by something that didn’t feature in your own past. Nostalgia is great. The KillianM2 YouTube channel sustains me more than Netflix ever will. I’ve even taken to spraying Lynx deodorant on myself of late for some pangs of adolescence. Exposure to carcinogens a risk I’m willing to take just to feel something!
